This was another part of our ride on November 13th.  We're always looking and exploring small roads.  This raod has lots of curves, dips and water flooded areas.  Once we went through the water but not this time.  It's way too deep and I just couldn't bring myself to do that to my spokes.

Ok gota get in and get the 50k check up.  I can change the oil, clean the air filter and change the spark plugs and wires but I don't know how to change the fork fluid so the best thing for me to do is take it to the pro's.  I'm sure there are other little things they do also that I haven't even began to think about. Keeping my little guy in tip top shape is very important to me, I still have a lot more ground to cover in this saddle.  So far he's been real good to me so I'm real good to him.

This is they guy that has worked on my bike the most.  His name is Nelson and he's pretty cool.  What ever the need is he always tries to fit my bike in while I wait.  I like the personal attention I get from him and the owner,Tom.

50,000 Miles Under My Belt

Well I've been in my own saddle now for 3 years and 5 months.  There is no place I'd rather be either, give me the open roads, the wind on my knees and the sun on my face and I'm a very happy camper.  Ya know,  some things are just meant to be and I believe this is what's meant for me.

On this particular day hubby and I decided we'd head up the middle of the state to a town called Sebring.  The weather was great and so was the ride.  We stopped along the way in Lake Placid and had some breakfast then onto Sebring to get a watch to hook on my bike. This watch is cool, it's got a timer so now I can even set it to see how long it takes to get to some of my destinations.

Anyone know where the next pic was taken?

This is Lake Placid, up on a hill next to hwy 27 on the west side.  Every time we've passed there I always thought how cool it would be to get my bike in front of there.  Well, on this particular day I asked my darling husband (who spoils me rotten) if he'd help me get my bike in there.  He's my hero, he rode my bike through the pine trees and mulch and sand and got it in there for me.  I love times like this.  :-)
