Here is a picture from Sunday's ride.  When riding around here in Florida one thing we learn to expect is a wet butt.  One minute it's raining and the next minute it's sunny.

So Far This Year

Here it is the beginning of October and I'm still riding every where.  I've been to lots of places here in Florida but haven't managed to make it out of state.  The year isn't over yet so there's still hope.

Like the saying goes, it's not the destination, it's the ride.  Today on the way home from work, only about 3 miles into a 5 mile ride I see what looked to be a bad rain storm ahead.  Just before I got to the rain I saw the most beautiful rainbow.  It went from one side of the road to the other side, orange grove to orange grove.  I was so lucky to have my camera in my saddlebag.  I pulled off to the side of the road with hopes that no one was going to need the turning lane and that no one was going to run me over.  Below is one of the pictures I took. 

I know it's hard to see the rainbow but if you look hard enough you'll see it.  The lower pick show the rainbow a little better.  By the time I was done taking pictures the rainbow was gone and so was most of the rain that was ahead of me.  Things just worked out to be a great ride.  Even though it was only about 5 miles.
